Good news readers. Because Jessica is a sensational picture-taker, you shan't have a boring, wordy post again (until I go back home that is). Here is this weekend's happenings:

Friday night was the Santa Monica Pier. A very large dock in the water with a roller coaster and ferris wheel on it. Very large, and awesome.
That's right, we were in LA this weekend, and what a fabulous time we had!!!! We stayed with Jes's friend and he was an incredibly gracious host and tour guide.

Over the rooftops and up on the hill, you can just barely see the Hollywood sign. That was as close as we came.

First stop Saturday morning was in Malibu at this INCREDIBLE cupcake shop, Crumbs. This is the spread. Not surprisingly, we seriously annoyed the girl who was helping us by being so undecidable.

Us holding our goodies in front of the shop.

The goodies. NOT just pretty cupcakes, they were honestly amazing!

Next stop: The Getty Museum. SO beautiful. I loved every minute of it. Just Google it so I don't have to tell you all about it.

The rocks all over the museum made music when you hit them. It kind of sounded like a wind chime. Naturally, this entertained us for a good half hour.

Comparing my hind quarters, to that of the sculpture's. I think I measured up alright.

The LA temple. So big and so beautiful!

RODEO DRIVE BABY!!! I have dreamed about this moment since the first time I watched Pretty Woman (my favorite movie), and it absolutely did not disappoint! I can't even afford a shopping bag at any of the stores, but I didn't even care, I just LOVED being there.

Proof.

Happened to drive down... Sunset Blvd (maybe) during Gay Pride Week. Needless to say, we saw lots of wonderful things.

Universal City Walk. (Universal's answer to Downtown Disney) It was big, loud, in your face, and chuck full of people, but fun. This is us kissing the shrimp, yes the shrimp, from Bubba Gump Shrimp.

Final stop of the night was The Grove. An incredibly charming outdoor mall with the most inviting atmosphere and wonderful scenery. Loved it.

At The Grove they have this place called the Farmer's Market. It is like the most crazy sort of food court you can imagine. It is just gigantic, and it is all these tiny little places with fresh food of every kind and genre, like little restaurants. There were fun little shops there too, Agh! We just loved it. The picture doesn't do it justice, and neither do words. Just go there. It is worth it.
To finish off a stellar weekend, we rode home with these two:

Yes, we are on the highway, and yes, both of his feet are on one side of the bike. Side saddle + bullet bike + freeway = A perfectly safe combination and a great time for c0-freeway-ers.

This guy was showing off after he saw me take a picture of his friend. Mind you, we are going freeway speeds here. After all his tricks, he waved and blew us kisses. Love him and hope he doesn't die.
Oh, and we also saw Snow White (no joke) driving her silver Mazda (not big enough for all 7 dwarfs, but I wasn't going to mention it to her). It was an eventful weekend, followed by an eventful drive home.
