Last post of the day, I swear.
Yesterday was Jessie's birthday and we spent my final weekend here in CA (sad trombone) up in LA. Due to a series of unfortunate events, neither of us had our cameras.
So what did we do?
We bought disposable cameras of course. Loved every crazy minute of looking through the viewfinder and asking random people to do the same. Then making jokes about checking to see if the picture was good enough. So, as you can tell, it will be slightly longer than usual for me to post pictures of this weekend.
But know this.... it rocked.

P-I-Z-Z-A
Following our ridiculously long, yet productive day in DL (see post #2), we were privileged enough to make a visit to Rubino's (or something) pizza. Notice how there are no people, and no lights on in this establishment....
Friend of a friend owns this place, and invited us to an after hours, private dining experience.

Again...
The Fourth of Joo-Lie
The 4th of July weekend, was one I was sad to be missing back home, because I LOVE the Murray Parade and all Utah events related to the holiday. However, SoCal did not disappoint. We had some visitors for the weekend, and some fabulous visitors they were! Here is what the weekend consisted of:
I post this picture so that everyone can see how far away the water is from us and also to lament a little further over the loss of my beloved blackberry. On this fateful beach day, a rogue wave attacked our camp and all available electronics, including my phone. R.I.P.
On the 4th (which was on the actual day, instead of the Saturday before) we joined the throngs of people near the beach and wandered around La Jolla. We found a Cheese Shop, and naturally had to take a picture to honor my love of the cheese.
Next we made our way to Coronado to find a primo spot for the fireworks show over downtown San Diego. Hanging out on the giant beach towel, waiting for the business to start.
